Days 5 and 6 |
| Hiking to Barafu (4600 m),
leaving for the summit at midnight, reaching Uhuru Peak
(5895 m) at 8.15 am on 11th August and
finally crawling into our sleeping bags at 10 pm at Mweka
Camp (3100 m). |
