Kathmandu (1355 m)
René flew back to Kathmandu this morning from the Chitwan
National Park. He spent the afternoon at the Pilgrims Bookstore and
will, no doubt, return home with a few leather-bound copies of famous
Himalayan mountaineers and climbs.
This evening the Adventure Consultants' team meets for a
celebratory dinner at the Shanker Hotel at 5 pm. Quite a party, I imagine!
René's flight to Doha leaves Kathmandu tomorrow evening at
20h25 and he connects to Johannesburg just after midnight on Wednesday
12th. He is expected to arrive at O R Tambo International at 8h10 on the
morning of 12th November.
We all look forward to welcoming him back to South Africa.
