The team had a good day hiking up
to Namche Bazaar. The trip took about 5 hours. René has found
the elevation change of approximately 700 m from Phakding has made him a
little "light headed". The mountains are beautiful. The team
members are all feeling good. The lodge is 5 star quality with
excellent cuisine, bedding and en-suite showers. René spent some
time today writing up his MSc notes. He is still awaiting his
trekking bag which should catch up with him later today. Tomorrow
the team will have a rest day to acclimatise. A short hike to
Khunde/Khumjung in the morning will keep the legs fit and strong.
