Namche Bazaar (3440 m)
The team made their way up to Khumjung this
morning in mild weather and, despite cloud cover, a magnificent panorama
of the surrounding mountains was enjoyed at 'Everest View Hotel'. A highly
informative talk was delivered here on the subject of
altitude sickness
and the view of Ama Dablam allowed for a visual demonstration of the camps
and routes that are to be taken. The team then walked back to Namche
Bazaar in good time for an afternoon nap as the day was primarily reserved
for acclimatisation and rest. Everybody is well and Adventure Consultants
are doing a wonderful job. It
is on this positive note that the team members
will
make their way up to Thyangboche tomorrow.
